Dr. L. C. Greer practiced medicine in Huntington. He was born in Geogia in 1848. He died in 1900 from apparent injuries he received - as to
why and how - not known by the researchers.

Dr. Lewis C. Greer of Sebastian County, Arkansas; formerly of Georgia and Tennessee; died April 3, 1900, from injuries he sustained due to
accidentially jumping from a a moving train. He was the husband of Mary Jane (Williams) Greer. The couple married in 1875.
He recieved his education in Atlanta, Georgia and in 1876, he received his medical degree.
In 1897, he left medicine and went into business of some sort not known at this time.
(from lr) He was the son of Isaac Newton Greer and Mary Elizabeth. In 1870 Lewis was teaching school in Georgia.
and in 1880 he was a physician in Tennessee.
Son Dane Manson Greer was born Aug 22, 1882 in Tennessee.
