Dr. James Henry Benefield

Dr. Benefield was born Aug 1, 1866 in Chapel Hill, Heard, Georgia and died July 8, 1947 in Fort Smith, Ark. He was the son of William Jordan and Sarah Jane Pittman Benefield and married to Francis Murphy. Dr. J. H. was a graduate of Memphis Hospital Medical College in 1902. His brother C. E. Benefield also practiced medicine in Sebastian Co. Ar.
