My husband's Davis ancestors raised and sold cotton in the early 1900s (they lived in Bates). I'm not certain if this picture was taken in Waldron but someone else might recognize the scene. I do know that Waldron is where the family conducted their business as I have several receipts from Waldron Hardware-Mercantile Company, the Bank of Waldron. and First National Bank of Waldron.
