Pictured above is my grandmother, Vera Mae Martin Sawyer. She was born 1 November 1913, daughter of Julius Franklin Martin and Ongie Atchley of Scott County. She was the wife of Lecil Richard "Tom" Sawyer and died 4 July 1995.
