Wayne Roseberry was in this quartet called the Lone Star Quartet. He is in the back row on the left. On the right was Milton Estes the manager and emcee.
Bottom Row: Clyde Garner, Edd Davis & Edmond Boyette.

This photo is from very late 1941 or early 1942. Wayne was the baritone singer for the Lone Star Quartet in Wichita Falls, TX in 1941. They moved to Raleigh, NC in late 1941. He left the Lone Star in 1942 and in 1946 became an original member of the Stamps Blue Ridge Quartet and remained with them for around one year.

Wayne Roseberry was the son of Richard Roseberry, the son of Ambrose "Ambers" Gordon Roseberry. Wayne was born about 1915. His parents were Richard Roseberry and Jennie (Atchley) Roseberry. Richard was my Grandmother Bertha (Roseberry) Lovett's half brother.

Above is another picture of the Stamps Baxter Lone Star Quartet. Some of the members changed.

Top Row: Wayne Roseberry, Milton Estes, Edwin Gaggett
