Searching for those who might have additional information about John A. DICKERSON (1840 - 1902) and wife Margaret E. DICKERSON (1842 - 1910). They are buried in
Blackfork Cemetery in Scott County. Looking for descendants with information, where they lived, and maybe photos of the family. All I know about his wife is that
she was Margaret Elizabeth ROPER, born in 1842 in Wright County, Missouri to Francis Yewell and Mary P. (POOL) ROPER. Her youngest brother was my Great-Grandfather.
We have only recently located this couple's whereabouts. In 1880 they were listed on the Scott County census in Tumlinson Township. Any help would be greatly apprecitated.

I am looking for any info on my relatives who lived in Scott County in 1880. I am particularly intested
in Hester CRAVENS, who is listed as mother to head of household in the 1880 census -- he was Z.T. CRAVENS
(my paternal great grandfather). Z.T. was marred to Sullie or Sarah or Sallie (many different names in as
many records). At that time they had three children (Hannah, Nancy and William). ZT later moved to OKla and
had two more wives, so his first wife may be buried in Scott County but cannot find her.

I finally found where my great grandparents were married. Sadly, what I found only gives their
initials as R.D. MIXON age 23 from Waldron and A.M. MCKELVA age 16 from Waldron. They were married
Dec 6, 1894 in Scott County, Arkansas. The family Bible only gave his name as Dea MIXON and the only
time I have found him on the census is 1900 in Texas where he says D. MIXON, b. Mississippi May 1870, his father
born Mississippi and his mother born Arkansas. The census records havent led me anywhere. There is also a
Mixon/Mixson Book which hasnt yielded any results. The McKELVAs including Artie Missie and D. Mixon
moved to Red River county by 1897 where my grandmother was born. I am hoping you can suggest places to
look where I might find his full name. It doesnt look like they signed anything on the license. For
several years we had the date in the Bible and family members were quite sure the wedding was in TEX
which has no extant marriage records for that time. I am so excited to finally having found that he had
two initials and am anxious to find out what his name was. Might they have that info at the courthouse?
Seems like they would have had more than just initials to get their license??? MIXON died in 1903 as did
a child. Initials in the Bible are D.B., b. 1902 and died 1903. (Probably Oklahoma). The new Family Search
pilot search showed he was from Logan but on the online record of both the license and the return say he was
from Waldron. I am hoping someone will know of his family or where I can look in Scott for his full name.

I'm looking for information on Forrester GOODWIN. Forrester has sometimes also been referred to as "Bud"
or simply "Forster". He was a coal miner and died around 1899 in LeFlore County, Oklahoma (Indian
Territory at the time) but was supposed to have been taken back and buried in Scott County, where his
family is shown on the 1900 Census. I have a copy of his marriage certificate to Rowie or Roma Rolland
in Scott County. It lists his birth in North Carolina in 1863. The information I'm mainly looking to obtain
would be:
Burial information.
Any records of local coal miners -- did they have some sort of payroll which can be checked?
Parents and siblings of Forrester GOODWIN.
If you have **any** information about Forrester or Roma GOODWIN, please contact me.

Scott County, Arkansas. They were my 3rd great-grandfather's brothers. They left
Georgia to settle in Arkansas. I would like to hear from anyone who is researching
