that in Kansas.

I am researching the surnames of FRY and SMITH in Scott County. Amanda SMITH married Joseph Baxter
FRY in 1894. In 1912, within a two month span, Amanda and two of her children, Carodine and Mary,
died. Would like to know the cause of death. Was there a major illness in the community at the time?
Any help is sincerely appreciated.

Seeking info on Florence Melissa BAGWELL, our great grandmother, who has not been found on a
census. She was born in Arkansas about 1871 and was supposed to be an orphan. She had a sister
named "Lee." We have been told she could have been living with a family by the name of THOMAS.
She was living in Tomlinson Township in 1885 when she married D.E. HATCHETT at age 14 in the
M.E. Church, South. Florence and her sister might have been living with separate families.

Does anyone have Scott County Lumber Industry records from the early 1900s? I am looking for
employment records or any other mention of my great-great Grandfather, C.W. NEFF. I am trying
to pin down a more specific date of when he arrived in the county, and exactly where he might have
lived. I know his family shows up in the 1900 census in Buffalo township in MO, but I think they
moved into Scott County, AR soon after. I have posted several NEFF photos on the Scott County page,
including one I labeled NEFF LOGGING CREW, so I know he had ties to the logging industry in the early
1900's. I would love to find documents to back that up further. Thanks for any help you can provide!
