I have found my Great Grandparents in the
Scott Co. census (1900, 1910 and 1920) Thomas Allen HART (born:1862) and Mary A.
JONES HART. Both were recorded as being from Cardiff when they were married
3/29/1900. According to the census Tom HART was born in IL 1862, and Mary JONES
HART born in Arkansas 8/1883, (her parents also born in Ark.) I've been
searching and can not find anything on their parents. According to my Dad they
left Ark., divorced, Tom died in Kansas and Mary remarried and died in Missouri.
The Ark. Vital records web site wants parents names for a search. Is there
another site for birth information? They seemed to have stayed in Scott Co.
Would appreciate any help or advice.

Following the recent death of my grandmother Mildred
FARNSWORTH, I came across a clipping announcing the birth of my g-grandfather
Frank Cyrus NEFF. His father was C.W. NEFF (probably Cyrus Worth) and was
mentioned in the article as a policeman. However, I don't know if this article
came from a Scott County paper or not. Frank Cyrus (aka Cyrus Frank) NEFF was
born Feb 14, 1889 in either Dutch Creek or the White River area. Can anyone help
me out by looking into records of law enforcement officers in the area in 1889.
I would really like to know if C.W. NEFF worked in the area as a policeman,
sheriff, or whatever.

I am looking for any info on the family of
William ANTHONY b. 18 April 1802 in Ky., d. 26 Feb 1883, and buried in the old
Anthony Cemetery near the Oliver Community in Scott Co, Ar. William is found on
1850 Scott Co Census in Hickman Township living with Ann b. abt 1827 in Tn.,
John b. abt 1828 Ar., Celia b. abt 1832 in Ar., Jane b. abt 1834 in Ar.,
Parcemina b. abt 1836 in Ar., George b. abt 1838 in Ar., Oliva b. abt 1840 in
Ar., Matilda b. abt 1842 in Ar., Levina b. abt 1844 in Ar., and Dianah b. abt
1846 in Ar. Another ANTHONY family is located two houses down with the head of
the household being Jesse ANTHONY, with another two more down named Finess
ANTHONY, Jr. Next door to the family is listed the family of John D. WOLFE.
William and Anne are found on 1860 and 1870 Scott Co. Census in Lafayette Township. They are found on 1880 Census in Brawley Township. Eliza WOOLF aged 21 b. in Ar and listed as a niece is living with them. This leads me to believe that Anne might be my missing daughter of Andrew DAVIS and Lucinda WOLFE found in 1840 Johnson Co., Ar. Does anyone know anything of this Eliza WOOLF who was listed as a niece?
From an obit of 21 Dec. 1916, "Grandma" ANTHONY d. at the home of John DODD
in Hon Township last Friday night. She had made her home with them for several
years. Where was she buried and how was she connected to the John DODD family? I
would appreciate any info on William ANTHONY prior to 1850, as to who his first
wife was. Which if any of the children on the 1850 Census belonged to Ann and
which to his first wife? Any help or suggestions would be greatly
appreciated.
