Pictured is Marvin Hon Johnson. She was born 19 November 1906 in Waldron, daughter of Marvin P. Johnson and Zella Hon Johnson Holland.The background of the outdoor photo below is the property of John Hon, her grandfather. Her great-grandfather was Jackson Hon. She moved from the Waldron area around 1925 to become a registered nurse. She worked as an RN for the Army Air Corps, and also later in life when she retired as a Major from the US Air Force. She married Charles E. Whitaker II on December 25, 1929 in Colorado, and had one son, Charles E Whitaker III. She traveled all over the world in her role as military RN, and was buried September, 1970 at San Francisco National Cemetery in California.
