MT. MORIAH SCHOOL PHOTO, ca 1916-1917

Back row from left: Oscar Hale, Unknown, Roy Hale, Ethel Vaughn, Mollie Brothers, Otis Johnson, Margaret Osborne (the other two girls are unknown to me).

Front row: Boy with hand on his hip is Carmon Hale; standing in front of Roy Hale is Harlan Hale and next to Harlan is Loyd Hale; in front of Otis Johnson is Audie Hale.

Mt. Moriah School also served as Mt. Moriah Church. This old building was torn down and later moved to Highway 80 where it is still Mt. Moriah Church. All the Hales are my family. It's probable some of the other kids are Osbornes, James, Vaughns, and Brothers. If you recognize any of the other children or have history you want to share about them I would really appreciate hearing from you.
