Pictured above is my great-grandfather, James Everett Moles, son of Jacob Cooper Moles. Jacob Moles is listed on the 1850 Scott Co. census at Hickman Township, 18 years of age, single. By 1860 he is listed with wife Rebecca Edith Reed and two daughters, Mary L., age 6, and R.B., age 1. Jacob Moles was born in Fentress County, Tennessee and served as Scott County Treasurer from 1856 to 1862. He is said to have served in the Civil War and I am seeking records of his service. My great-grandfather, his son James Everett Moles pictured above, was born in 1875 at Arkadelphia, Arkansas. If anyone can add to my information on this family, please contact me. Dan Grabowski
