EARL REEVES McGAUGH

Earl Reeves McGaugh (about 1915? in Waldron)

Earl Reeves McGaugh worked in a cafe in Waldron as a young man. Later, he owned and operated Earl's Cafe in Waldron. The family continued to run the cafe after his death in 1942. The photograph was originally sent to his half sister, Addie, and somehow made it back to the family. On the back of the photo is written:

"To Mrs. Addie Williams
This is me in my cooks apron. Don't look at the frown. I was facing the sun. Earl"
