The photo above was found in my grandmother's picture box. She was a descendant of George McClain and Martha Sarah Ann McLain. From their descriptions in their Civil War military records, I wonder if these two boys were John McClain, born 4 October 1829, and George McClain, born 1845. Both were probably born in Scott County. They were likely either brothers or uncle and nephew. If anyone can help identify the men in this picture, please contact Carrie Moos
