Pictured above is Hettie Alameda Locke, born 1908 at Boles, Scott Co., AR. She was the daughter of William Nathan Locke and Nancy Elizabeth Copeland. Nancy was the daughter of William G/J Copeland and Martha Alameda McConnell. I am trying to find the parents or siblings of William Copeland. He was born c1850 in AR or TN and is found on the 1880 census of Montgomery Co., AR. Nancy's brother, Johnny G. Copeland, was a long time resident of Scott Co. and still has many descendants living in the county. Please contact Bev Sellers if you have information about any of these families. The surname Locke is also found spelled Lock.
