Robert "Bob" Matthew Harris was the son of Benjamin Christopher and Anna Louisiana (Ivey) Harris. Robert M. Harris was born December 29, 1868 in Arkansas. He married Laura Bell Journey December 25, 1888 in Scott County, Arkansas. Laura Bell Journey was the daughter of Elijah F. and Dollie (Dark) Journey. She was born June 12, 1873 in Columbia, Tennessee. Robert M. Harris died October 29, 1915 Nola, Arkansas in a cotton gin accident at the age of 46. He is buried at Parks Cemetery near Nola. Laura Bell died January 27, 1942 in Waldron, Scott County, Arkansas at the age of 69. She is also buried at Parks Cemetery near Nola. Bob and Laura Harris had a total of nine children, two of whom were born and died before 1900. Their names and gender are unknown. The other seven children were:

Ollie Clementine Harris was born May 25, 1891 or May 5, 1891 at Parks, Scott County Arkansas, and died February 16, 1961 in Tulsa, Tulsa County, Oklahoma. She is buried at Parks Cemetery near Nola in Scott County. She married Benjamin Allen Morrow September 1, 1907 in Scott County, Arkansas, son of William Preston Morrow and Melvina Jones. Ben Morrow was born June 20, 1888 in Olio, Scott County Arkansas. Ben died April 3, 1974 in Tulsa, Tulsa County, Oklahoma. He is buried Parks Cemetery near Nola. Ben and Ollie had seven children. Ollie and Ben Morrow were my grandparents.

Dollie Harris was born about October 22 1894 - 1895 in Scott County Arkansas, and died September 1987 in Ft. Smith, Sebastian County Arkansas at the age of about 92. She married Albert Oller September 16, 1916 in Scott County Arkansas, son of Virgil Oller and Melinda Franklin. Albert Oller was born May 7, 1895 in Arkansas and died January 28, 1965 in Ft. Smith, Sebastian County Arkansas at the age of 69. His parents were Virgil Henry Oller and Melinda Vinie Franklin. They had seven children.

Bryan Columbus Harris was born January 1898 in Scott County Arkansas, and died June 29, 1929 in Waldron, Scott County Arkansas at the age of about 31. Place of burial is unknown. He married Mamie Lovett August 11, 1921 in Scott County Arkansas. They had two children. Mamie was born about 1903. Date and place of burial is unknown.

Eligah C. Harris was born May 1900 in Parks, Scott County, Arkansas, and died 1950 in Placerville, California. He is buried at Pleasant Valley Cemetery. He married Alta Kemp February 24, 1924 in Scott County Arkansas. They had two children. Alta Kemp was born about 1906. Date, place of death and burial are unknown.

Thula T. Harris was born July 1, 1902 in Scott County Arkansas, and died June 18, 1999 in Danville, Yell County Arkansas. She married (1) Sylvester Curtis Herrin September 6, 1918 in Scott County Arkansas, son of J.C. Herrin and Cornelia McClain. She married (2) Julian Hunnicutt, son of Wesley Hunnicutt and Della Snipes. Thula and Vess Herrin had two children, one a daughter who was born and died before their other child, a son was born.

Frankie Harris was born about 1904 - 1906 in Scott County Arkansas, and died September 1, 1959 in Placerville, California. She married Victor L. Williams July 13, 1922 in Scott County Arkansas, son of Albert Williams and Eula Sanders. They had three children. Victor Williams was born August 1893 and died before 1954. Both were buried at Placerville, California, buried Golden Gate National Cemetery in San Bernardino County, California.

Robert M. and Laura Bell Journey Harris were my great grandparents. My grandmother was Ollie Harris Morrow. This photo is owned by Dwight Douglas who is a grandson of Dollie Harris and Albert Oller, through their daughter Thula Vashtie Oller and Delmar Arnold Douglas.
