ANDREW GOODWIN JONES FAMILY

Andrew G. Jones was born 3 September 1875 in Scott County and died 16 January 1956 in
Tarrant County, Texas. He married first Laura Cornelius 10 July 1896 in Scott County. She
was born 4 August 1877 and died 5 June 1911. They were the parents of six children, the
youngest of whom was Helen Marie Jones, born 13 November 1909. She married Melvin Eugene
Goodwin.
The death certificate of Andrew Jones lists his middle name as "Goodwin" and I am
interested in learning if there was an earlier connection between the Goodwin and Jones
families?
