James Marion Davenport was born December 23, 1896 in Scott County, Arkansas, most likely in the Weeks area and died March 7, 1989. He was the son of Robert S. and Mary Ann (Rust) Davenport. He married Minnie Brixey on May 5, 1928 in Scott County. She was born in Scott County on February 4, 1900 and died March 23, 1983. They lived a short distance west of the Weeks area. They are both buried in the Weeks Cemetery.
