EMMA YEAMAN

Emma L. Caldwell Yeaman, 88, of Heavener, passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2007, in Heavener. She was born August 23, 1918 to Charles and R.K. Gipson in Cauthron, Ark. She was retired from the U.S. Forest Service. She was a member of the order of the Eastern Star and Trinity Baptist Church. She played at numerous churches over the years and for residents at Heavener Nursing Home. She will always be remembered for her favorite rendition of "Milk Cow Blues." Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 17, 2007, at Trinity Baptist Church in Heavener, with burial in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Heavener, under the direction of Downed Funeral Home. She is survived by three daughters, Kay Jones of Centerville, Ga., Judith Caldwell and Martie Wisdom both of Heavener; a son, Stanley Caldwell of Alconburry, England; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Stanley B. Caldwell and Omer Yeaman.
