We were unable to locate two stones listed in a 1993 survey of this cemetery:
Hill, Caraline, No dates, "Baby"
Spaid, Ward L., 1962-1990, Wood carved monument. Note: Mr. Spaid's family did not live in the vicinity, nor did they have
relatives there. Mr. Spaid's mother decided to remove the body for re-burial in Pinecrest Cemetery in Mena, Arkansas.

Notes:
Roop, Nancy Jane, b. 24 Feb 1881, d. 23 July 1881, daughter of Wm. H. Roop and Margaret Rebecca Gragg Roop is buried
in an unmarked grave. It was thought that the grave was being dug in the Hudgens Family Plot but it happened to be
in the Richey plot. Mr. Richey insisted that they go ahead with the burial, rather than have to dig a new grave. Henry
Roop took his big truck loaded with about 25 or 30 to a Decoration Day service at Walnut Grove Cemetery about 1928.
I was among them. My father (Tom) did not go but his brothers John, Jim and Henry did with several of their families.
I was 8 years old and did not even know where we went. I remember it was a big day for all of us. From
B.O. Roop
Watts, W.H., 1837-1914, Hand made stone next to the back fence & near the East end of cemetery. We missed finding
this stone, so no photograph is available. Information from descendant, Thelma Hearn.
"My grandmother told me the story about the Civil War veteran that is buried in the cemetery - Harry Long, who
died in 1862. She had tried to get a Civil War marker for his grave but was unable to do so before she died. Information
from Betty Wiles.
