HENSLEE FAMILY CEMETERY
Scott County, Arkansas

This abandoned cemetery is located southeast of Waldron and about 5.8 miles East on State Highway 250. It is alongside the highway, on the left (North) side of the road in a wooded area. The stone of Lucinda Beeson is clearly visible from the highway. All the stones are broken off their bases. Canvassed and digitally photographed on 10 August 2003. In February 2008 the landowners, L.D. & Virginia Powell, had this cemetery cleared of trees and a fence built around it. It looks much nicer! Anyone wishing a photograph of any of these stones may contact Delaine Edwards and I will be happy to send it to you via Email. Please put "Henslee Cemetery Photos" in the subject line of your message.
