From a special section of the Waldron News newspaper of 23 April 1981, consisting of interviews of Scott County citizens 80 Years of age and over. The interviews were done as part of a celebration of the Bank of Waldron's 80th anniversary.

JAMES W. ANGEL

James W. Angel was born to Joseph and Isabelle Angel on February 14, 1896 in Jasper, Georgia. He has spent the last 35 years in Waldron living in the Elm Park and Square Rock communities and the past 25 years of this in the City of Waldron. Mr. Angel was married to Merl Barry Angel who is now deceased. A daughter Mary A. Jett lives in Waldron. A member of the Baptist Church, Mr. Angel has been a shoe repairman for many years.
