From a special edition of the Scott County Advertiser newspaper of 3 April 1991, entitled "A Salute to Scott County Citizens 90 Years and Over." The interviews were done as part of a celebration of the Bank of Waldron's 90th anniversary.

CLARENCE KOPF

Clarence Kopf was born in Elk City, Kansas, January 4, 1894, to Martin Fred and Sadie (Reynolds) Kopf. He attended school in Kansas, and is a Methodist. He married Maggie Gibson, and took up farming, and also worked in a box factory during World War II. He has been a resident of Scott County for 53 years. He entered Pinewood June 1, 1989.
