From a special edition of the Scott County Advertiser newspaper of 3 April 1991, entitled "A Salute to Scott County Citizens 90 Years and Over." The interviews were done as part of a celebration of the Bank of Waldron's 90th anniversary.

ARTHUR SNELLGROVE

Arthur Snellgrove was born in Indian Territory at what is now New Midill, Oklahoma, April 30, 1900. His parents were Norman and Ida Elizabeth (Shillings) Snellgrove. He has been a resident of Scott County in the Cauthron community for 56 years. He and his late wife Mattie had two children, Buster C. Snellgrove and Bessie Ruth Arp. Mr. Snellgrove has served as a pastor in California, Waldron, and Bates. He is a member of the Pentecostal Church of God of America and is also a retired farmer.
