This a photo of the family of Powhatan and Amanda Peters Autry taken ca. 1907 near Gainesville or Sivell's Bend, Texas. They were md. 5 Jul 1888 in Gravelly, Yell Co., Ark. Powhatan was listed w/his parents and siblings on the 1880 Scott Co. census, La Fave Twp., as "Pocolatan", or something like that, and as a female. I suppose the census taker had had a bad day.
