Surveyed September 2 and 3, 1999 by Katrina Johnson. Located on the Steele Bridge Road in Saline County. Many stones are broken and leaning against the fence, also many graves marked with rocks that were fallen over and broken. Several markers that are so old they are faded. Cemetery was said to also have been known as Henderson, and also Clear Springs as this was the site of the old Clear Springs Baptist Church. It was said to have been started by a Mr. Bolt on his land to bury his slaves. A sign in the cemetery says it was established in 1830. If anyone can't make it to the cemetery and would like a photo of a stone I don't live too far from it and would be glad to take a picture for them.
