QRYTEXT: Ok this may seem like a very strange query, but I believe it was
March of 1980 my grandfather, Glenn Shaver was a preacher at the Church of
Christ there in Pocahontas, AR. During that time he baptized my brother, his
son, and myself. While at the church or outside of the church we left behind our
bibles that he had given us with our names on the front. I do not remember the
name of the Church of Christ there or the colors of everyones bibles. But I do
know that mine was white with the gold around the outside of the pages and my
name was in the lower right hand corner, LeVonda Vickery. If anyone can tell me
how to contact this church or has any information about the 4 lost Vickery
bibles left behind there...please please let me know. Thank you!

QRYTEXT: 1860 census in Randolph County shows Lorenzo Burrow and wife,
Catharine L living in Columbia twp. with children, Jessie M (my great-
grandfather), age 7, John age 6, Catharine S, 4, Barbary A, 2, and James P 6/12.
Catharine died 12/20/62 and is buried in Old Burr Cemetery in Randolph County.
Lorenzo later married Ada Harden, and they moved to Sebastian County, and had
several other children. I am desperately trying to find Catharine's maiden name.
I suspect that they married in Ripley County, Missouri, where Lorenzo lived in
1850 with father Jesse Burrow, but there is no marriage license to be found
there or in Randolph County

QRYTEXT: I am searching for the parents of my ggmother Minerva Jane Ingram B:
Ky. 1835. I found her in the 1880 Boone Cty. census with her husband William
Ramsey and her children. I have reason to believe they left Ky at the start of
the civil war and came to Randolph Cty. Ar. My reason for this is a story that
has been passed down through the faimly for years I first heard it as a small
child. The story goes that during the civil war they lived in this house with a
trap door under the table. When the yanks came they went into the tunnel beneath
the table. The men folks used it to get away from the yanks and it ran about a
quarter of a mile from the house to the woods. One day my mother says her
grandmother Minerva Jane and her mother were at home and they heard shooting.
Minerva looked out the window and saw the yanks shooting at someone. After a
while the yanks left and they came out of the cellar and went to look to see if
they could find an injured man. they did his name was William Ramsey and he was
shot in the jaw. I have Williams civil war papers and he was shot in the jaw.
SHe also told stories about Uncle Bill or Bob I can't remember which he was
blind Years later I read the same story in book the History of Randolph Cty. I
have searched the census records for Randolph cty but can't find them there they
may have come after the census taker came in 1860. Please if someone lives in
Randolph cty. I need help I have searched for three years with out luck. Any
help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Ruby
