Sular Washington Byrd (b. Oct. 21, 1887 Ravenden Springs, Randolph Co. AR - d. Dec. 10, 1957 Morris Ranch, Gillespie Co. TX) was the second oldest son of Andrew Jackson Byrd and Mary Elizabeth Simmons Byrd. He was a farmer in Randolph Co. AR and lived near Birdell, Randolph Co. AR along the Eleven Point River with his parents, wife (Lelia Cude Byrd), and daughter Mildred Mayme Byrd) before relocating to Texas in 1919. He and his wife Lelia were the postmasters at Morris Ranch, Gillespie Co. TX for many years before his death. Picture taken about 1910.
