Photo of Elijah Francis Dalton and Della Florence Marlette Dalton. Elijah Francis was born to David Daniel Dalton and his first wife Christine Everett. Elijah and Della and their children - Effie Mae, Lawrence, Clarence, Acel, Roscoe, Kermit, and Glen - were long time members of the community of Pocahontas. Lawrence wrote "The History of Lawrence County". Acel also did a lot of historical research of the local area and the Dalton clan.
