This picture was taken at Oceanside, California.
Mary Ida Gartman Weaver, is the young woman in the first row.
Her mother, Euphemia Frances Bass Gartman/Girtman Reid is the older woman in the middle row.Euphemia's parents, William & Martha Bass, lived at Pocahontas, Arkansas.
We believe that William was related to Sam Bass, the outlaw.Euphemia's husband, John Girtman or Gartman, died in 1899 at Doniphan, Missouri where he and Euphemia lived. Later, Mary Ida is found on the 1900 census with her brother and his wife in Texas.
Euphemia is living in a different county in Texas in that year.
By 1910 both Euphemia and her mother and new step-father (the older man
iin the picture - Ed Reid) are living in Myrtle Creek, Oregon.
