William M. Stout

William Stout was born 8 October, 1828 and died 7 April 1914. He is buried in the Roach Cemetery, near Hamil, Randolph County, Arkansas. About 1855 he married Priscilla Smith, daughter of James Middleton Smith and Susan Wallen
William served as a soldier in the army of the Confederate States, being a member of the Company of Reaves Regiment of Calvary from the State of Arkansas. He was honorably discharged from such service on or about the first day of July 1863.
