Index to Obituaries Published in the Mena Star
The Polk County Genealogy Society has abstracted obituaries published in the Mena Star during the past several years. They have shared the index to those obituaries with internet researchers. (Thanks!) The page numbers shown in the index refer to the page number in the yearly obituary book. The society has clipped and pasted the obituaries and placed them in book form. If you would like a photocopy of a particular obituary, send the following to the society:
1. A self addressed stamped envelope
2. The name of the individual and the year and page number as
shown in the index
3. $3.00 to cover the cost of photocopying and to help purchase
other microfilm
