Poinsett County Courthouse

Bounded by Market, East, Court, and Main Sts., Harrisburg
The present courthouse was built in 1918 costing $200,000. It is one of the prettiest in the state of Arkansas.
Recently underwent renovations.

Marked Tree Lock and Siphons

Also known as St. Francis River Lock and Siphons
On the St. Francis River, Marked Tree.

The Siphons take water out of the St. Francis Lake, also known as the St. Francis Sunken Lands, hoist it over the levee and dump it into the St. Francis River (on the right side of the picture) in order to keep the river navigable.
