Co. KY. They left KY after 1828. They were married in Cumberland CO. KY in 1805. She was

Seaborn Jones MARTIN b Dec. 16, 1804 d 1880, buried in Nevada Co., Martin cemetery. I am
looking for a family history book that tells about Seaborn and his brother, Robert Douglas Martin
& family and their trip about 1855 in wagons from Georgia to Ark. Robert Douglas Martin is my
great great grandfather. Someone placed this info on the net, I copied it, but did not get the name
of the person who placed it. If anyone has any info on this please contact me. I will gladly share

Searching for any info. on the children of Caldonia-b.1841 (AL) & Ben JONES-b.12/1839 (TN).
Names & Birth year are: Patterson-1860, Asberry-1862, William-1864, Robb-1870, Artery (my
great-grandmother) b.1871, {mar.John Henry WESLEY (2nd husband} / mar.Henry
CARDWELL (1st husband) - 2 boys: William-b.1897 & Bennie-b.1899, Ben Jr.-1872,
Eliza-1873, Willie-1874, Wiley-Mar.1879, Simms (adopted-?)-1880, and Nancy-Dec.1881 [mar.
Jim TUCKER - (b.Jan.1879) in 1903]. Everyone is from Hope, Bodcaw, and Texarkansas, AR.
Also Caldonia (my great-great-grandmother) had a sister named 'Lou' - b.1845 born in AL.,
moved to Arkansas had 7 children. Also would like information on John Henry Wesley (my
great-grandfather, husband of Artery). His parents were: Henry & Rosa (MOSS) Wesley (2nd
wife). Henry's 1st wife was Ellen McKINNEY (married name). They had 3 children: Bert,
Freddie, Floyd. Ellen brought 2-stepsons to the marriage: Lee & Jimmy McKinney. Henry
Wesley's father's name was Henry Coffee Wesley (my great-great-great-grandfather). Any
information on these family would also be appreciated. They are all from Nevada County,
Arkansas.

I am trying to determine the date of death of Moses Hillman STEED, who was my gr
grandfather. He was born in 1830 in Warren Co., TN. His family later moved to MS and Moses
married Chloe Cook in Attala Co., MS and moved to Nevada Co AR. Moses's children were
Lucinda, Anner, Ephraim Cordius, Greenwood, Oscar J., William R., James, and George
Lawsonberry Steed. Moses is buried in the Friendship cemetery near Cale and has a Civil War
grave marker. I have searched courhouse records and everything else I can think of. If anyone

I would like to contact descendants of Gerta Mae HAYES COLLIE from the McNeil area. I
believe that her mother was a WALKER. Her mother's father (Garland Williamson Walker,
buried in Watts Cemetery) and my gg gf William Luther Walker were brothers. I found her photo
in the Walz collection in 1906. I have a lot of information to share about the Walkers and would
like to learn more about the Hayes.
I am looking for my BASKINS in Harmony, Arkansas. When searching for Harmony, I came up
with it being in Madison, White, Nevada, Columbia and Johnson Counties. Does anyone know
where Harmony is? I am looking for Chester A. Baskin, b. about 1885? with brothers Howard

I am the grandson of Robert David STUART and would like any information regarding him and
his wife, Vida. R.D. Stuart died in September of 1972. Both he, and Vida, are buried at Pleasant

Looking for information on the family of Lester M. STEED of Prescott. He was born 7-19-1892
and died 12/22/1960. He married Hester SUMMERS of Atchison, Kansas. She was born
10-22-1895 and died 11-27-1918. Both are buried in the De Ann Cemetery. They had one
daughter that I know of by the name of Josephine. I believed she was raised by Lester's parents,
although I have no info. on them. I would love to hear from anyone who has information or may

I am seeking information concerning the SNEED and VAUGHN families of Prescott, Nevada
Co., AR. Lemuel Stanford Sneed had 10 children born in Prescott. His daughter Myrtle (Myrtie)
Sneed married (1) and Adams and (2) Omega (Omegar) Vaughn. I know that the Sneeds lived on
the highway going to Delight, they came from Tennessee and they sold their place in Prescott to

Beula, Mattie, and James. I am hoping J. C. Parker is John C. Parker born 1848 in Hot Springs
Co. AR. to Payton Letcher and Martha W. Parker. Payton Letcher Parker bought land in
Columbia Co. AR. in 1859. I think this land went into Nevada Co. when Nevada Co. was formed.

Regarding a gravesite in the Martin Cemetery, Nevada Co. AR, marked "R.B.V.", This is very
likely the grave of Rebecca BENGE VESTAL She was the daughter of Rev. Richard Benge and
Jane Hinshaw. She first married Abraham "Ab" Embry, (d: abt 1830),in Franklin Co. TN abt
1824. Following Ab's death she married William Vestal. They resided in Columbia County AR.
She may have moved to Nevada County AR late in life. Her brother's widow (of William P.
Benge) , Sarah "Sally" LESTER Benge purchased land in Nevada County ca. 1860, as did her
brothers, Baxter B. Benge, and possibly Presley G. Benge. Presley served the CSA from Nevada
or Columbia County AR. Any information on the Benge, Lester, or Vestal family in the area

Porteus FLOWERS born in Fort Scott, Kansas wife Kathrine ROBERTS born in Chicago, Ill,
married 14 Sept 1897 in Columbia county, Wisconsin. One son that I know of Harvey Flowers.
Porteus Flowers lived in several places 1897 Lawrenceville, Illinois, and the last address we had
for Porteus Flowers and his wife Kathrine Roberts Flowers was Prescot, Arkansas year 1915.
Porteus Flowers was a farmer according to my records. Would like to make contact with a

William C.HATLEY. I am seekilng info on my GGGrandfather, William Calvin HATLEY. He
was born in Greene Co., TN. Married to Nancy A. JOHNSON also from Greene Co., TN. He
was a school teacher and served in the Civil War in Kansas. He was divorced and we lost track of
