Hello, I am compiling a list of all known standing THEATER BUILDINGS in the US. Could you
all search Nevada County and tell me if there are any pre-1950 theater buildings still standing.
The name, former names, date built, architect if known, the number of seats and the present use
and condition is the information that I am looking for. When the list is finished it will be displayed
by state at http://www.musicfortsmith.org Thanks in advance for your time and trouble, Joe

My Grandfather was John B. CROSS who was buried in Bluff Springs Cemetery. His brother was
Frank Cross. John married Eddie who passed away in 1922. In 1923, he married my
Grandmother Jessie Epps when she was 18 and he was 44. I am told that John and Frank's father
was a Nathaniel Cross and I have also been told that it was Sam Cross. I have also been told that
John and Frank came to Arkansas as very young children from Brown or Clinton County, Ohio. I
have reviewed the Nevada County cemetery records and found Sam Cross in Washington
Cemetery. I have not found any reference to Nathaniel Cross. I don't have access to Arkansas
Census records here in Alabama and I am looking for someone to help me with making the
connection between John and Frank to either Sam or Nathaniel Cross. If it is Nathaniel Cross,
where is he buried? I would appreciate the help. What ever I find, I'll be willing to share it with
others. Thanks.

We have information that Samuel ELLIS was a landowner in the community of Hickory Grove in
the mid-1880's. His children were Will, Hubert, Berta, Belle, Vivien, Stella, Jewell. We have word
that he donated land for a small school near Hickory Grove. We do not know if he taught or not,
but apparently he was an educated person. We are also told that he was buried in the Moscow
cemetery, but apparently the old part which does not exist now. We made a search of the woods
around the current cemetery but found nothing. He immigrated here from Belfast Ireland and our
line stops with him. Gerald H. Goff, 2506 Pinson Drive, Texarkana, Arkansas 71854
