Whittington-Hiram Cemetery, Mount Ida, AR

Location: Drive down Fairgrounds Rd on the east side of Mount Ida, AR and follow it around to Ball Park Rd and watch for the cemetery at the verge of the road, you won't miss it. The area is maintained with half a dozen fence posts but no fence, soon after the road becomes gravel and will take you back out to Hwy 270, completing a loop. Only eight headstones readable, two fieldstones, and one CSA marker with no name. The cemetery is right by the roadside on top of a ridge with a view looking NW and is maintained. Looks like two headstones have been preserved by placing them on a concrete backing. Photos were taken on Monday 22nd March 2021.

Looks like a wild pear tree blooming to the NW.  Broom sedge grass is a perennial, found in open fields, a pasture weed, found on overgrazed pastures, right of ways,  in the background with an old pine tree.
