Elias GARNER, d: 8-20-1912, in Holly Grove, AR and his wife, Samantha Elizabeth COX GARNER d: 2-15-1917. Both Elias and Samantha moved to AR from TN. Any help will be appreciated.

She was the daughter of Ernest Milford ROBERTS and Serena Jane NEWTON. Mina ROBERTS was born 8/17/87 in Poplar Bluff, Mo. On June 1, 1900 the family lived on W. Pine, Brinkley, Monroe Co., Arkansas. I am interested in finding out who the parents of Serena Jane NEWTON were, and where she was born.

BIVENS, WOLFE posted by Judy on Wednesday, September 19, 2001: I am looking for information on my father's family. I was born in Holly Grove in 1958. My grand parents where Samuel and Lula (WOLFE) BIVENS of Clarendon. Samuel, I believe died at home, I was a toddler, do not remember much. I Grew up mostly in California. My Father, William Terrell BIVENS, Died in 1973 and is buried in California. Most contact with his family was soon lost. I had a Great Aunt Girdie WOLFE whom also lived in California. My understanding is she was the sister in law of Lula Wolfe BIVENS. I have been provided wonderful and accurate information on my Mother's family from Roe Arkansas but have yet to find much information on the Bivens side of the family. Any information is appreciated. Thank you.

MOORE posted by Ottis G Moore on Thursday, September 20, 2001: I am searching for information on JRB MOORE and family who lived at Clarendon between 1808 and 1924. They came there from Heber Springs, AR where he was the mayor for several terms in the late 1880's and 1890's. He was in real estate business in Heber Springs and Little Rock.

Abraham, Susannah, Isabelle, and Henry are said to be listed on the 1850 censes for Monroe Co. along with other HARMONS, but I have not seen it. Any information would help. Thank you.
