He was married to Maggie Lee MOORE from Crockett Co., TN in 1889. My g-grandfather T.E. WHITENTON was his brother.

I have found Jerry listed under all of those names. J.H. is on his marriage license to Minnie POWELL, 1888. He listed he was from Woodruff Co, Freeman Twp. Janie was the daughter of Joe and Mary Welch McMANUS and never married. She had no siblings living at the time. Researcher would like copy of obituary for any member of this family, date and place of birth of Mary Welch McMANUS and/or Janie McMANUS.

His grandmother was Nancy Agnes YOUNG, b. 9 July 1889 in Arkansas. His grandfather was Enoch CUNNINGHAM, b. 30 July 1879 in Tennessee. Together they came to Oklahoma. As the family story goes, Nancy's parents were fairly wealthy plantation owners who disinherited her when she married Enoch. Her father's name might possibly be Robert YOUNG.
