My greatgrandfather was s.d. cable, married amanda jane irvin,have no info as to where they were borned, on my grandfather death certificate s.d. was from indiana.
there were four children borned to s.d. and amanda (1) thomas eli, (2) john wesley ( edward
( bessie. john wesley was my grandfather he was borned in blythville oct 23, 1883, died nov 15, 1945 at age 62, buried at maple grove cementery
john married three times, first wife was vada manley they had two son"s albert, c.a. second wife divonia perkins they had a daughter that died in infancy.
he married annie mae Mcbride september 22, 1907 in blythville, there son ulysses grant cable, borned oct 27, 1908, in blythville. annie died before 1914 in child birth with her second child, she is buried in sawyer cementery, no head stone.
grant cable was my father. s.d. died ? no date. at a fairly young age.
amanda married a miller and had four miller children, amanda raised grant after his mother annie died she was his grandmother. amanda died nov 19, 1935 she is buried in elmwood cementery in blythville.
my father ulysses grant also married three times (1 georgie collins pine bluff, ark they had one daughter annie laura aug 5, 1927 drew, miss. (2 ollie storm slayton, minn there were two son"s grant duane march 1932. douglas gene oct 19,1933 both boy"s borned in slayton, minn. grant left minn when the boy"s were about two& three. he wenr to truman, ark and married a young women juanita lucille miller nov 06, 1936.
there three daughtrs from this marriage. ( anna lucille aug 16 1937 borned in detroit, mich. betty june april 15, 1939, detroit, mich. cheryl lynn may 04 1943 detroir, mich, all of grants chrildren are still living except cherl the youngest,she died december 18, 2002, buried hopewell cementery, hanceville, al juanita grants third wife died sept 15, 1959 at age 38, buried at park view memorial, in lavonia, mich
