This is William Leiper Brown, son of Tom Brown, stepson of Allie Trimble. W L Brown died in 1929, picture taken 1928 or 29.
(Note from Linda: The name Leiper or Leeper is a common name in the Brown family of MO although it is most often coupled with the first name of Gideon. Jane Leeper married into the Brown family ca 1790 and Leeper was used as a middle name in the Brown family from that time down to the current generation)
