The Marion Co email List is hosted by Rhio Gillis rhiog@comcast.net and it's a place to exchange (and ask for) genealogy information on people who lived in Marion Co AR.

When you join (subscribe) the email list you will receive a copy of every message posted to the list. If you post a message to the list all other subscribers will see it.
    There are two ways to receive messages. List = messages will come to you as individual emails. Digest = all messages for the day are combined into one email.

To subscribe to the Marion Co email list:
Determine which type of messages you wish to receive
Go to you email
Open a new email message

If you want to subscribe in list mode -
In the TO: box type in: ARMARION-L-request@rootsweb.com
In the subject line box type in: Subscribe
Be sure the message box is empty (no signatures, no backgrounds, etc)
Send the message

If you want to subscribe in digest mode -
In the TO: box type in: ARMARION-D-request@rootsweb.com
In the subject line box type in: Subscribe
Be sure the message box is empty (no signatures, no backgrounds, etc)
Send the message

You will receive back a Welcome Message from Rhio with helpful information

Should you ever wish to unsubscribe from the Marion Co email list follow the above steps except type Unsubscribe in the subject line
