MYSTERY: I have the family of John King SKEEN (age about 4 to 7) that
seems to have left the Madison County Arkansas area in a wagon train in 1852.
It seems that the parents died of cholera and left John and his siblings.
According to research notes from Wilson TIGARD the children were left alone and
James GILBREATH, also from Madison county, stopped and picked up the children
and took them to Oregon. Elisha SKEEN was raised with his children. Any idea
who the parents were? Wilson call the wagon train the James GILBREATH traveled
with the TIGARD-GILBREATH train. Did the other train have a name and is there
any records of who left on either one?
