Martha Jane Ritchie was born Oct 15, 1883 married John Henry Harris, in Arkansas,  their first born child was stillborn, after that they had 10 children:
Guy Ritchie Harris, Dallas Henry Harris, Ivan Monroe Harris, Claudia Chloe Harris, Ruby Jewell Harris, Ruth Ann Harris, Johnie Fern Harris, Gordon Harris, Gladys Golda Harris, and Audrey Jean Harris.

Later on the family moved to Boise, Idaho, and lived there many years. Martha Jane and John Henry Harris were separated, and she was living in Meridian, Idaho, and Fern, Gordon and Audrey went to school in Meridian. John Henry wanted to get back together with Martha Jane and tried several times, but she didn't want him, so he gave up and finally went back to Arkansas.

They did eventually divorce, and he remarried a second time to Pearl (Eldridge) daughter of Robert and Mary Eldridge, Pearl was a cousin by marriage, she was the widow of Frank Ritchie, son of Gabriel Ritchie ( Uncle Hawkeye) brother of Miles and Solomon, and Hugh Ritchie.

John Henry Harris had 4  children with Pearl,  and later moved to California,
their children were:
Henry Alvin Harris - Red Hair
Velma Lois Harris, Joyce Harris, Dorothy Harris, they all live in California.

Henry Alvin Harris was killed in a truck accident in 1988, and his wife Nippy moved back to Arkansas, with their children.

James Ritchie born 1881 and died 1961, is buried in Kuna, Idaho, he married Nancy (Asher) Ritchie and moved from Arkansas to Idaho, we don't know if they had children or not.
