HIRAM EDWARD RITCHIE

Hiram Edward Ritchie was born 1836 in Perry County, Ky,  he was the son of Isom Ritchie and Martha Patrick, he died after 1910 in probably Idaho.

Hiram Edward Ritchie is found on the 1850 Census of Perry County, Ky, age 14 years old, he was a young man when his parents and family moved to Arkansas.

Listed on the 1860 Census of Hilburn Township # 405.

Listed on the 1870 Census of Valley Township # 89, Madison County, Arkansas.

Hiram went with his parents, brothers and sisters to Madison County, Arkansas sometime after 1851, and before 1877. He then moved his family to Magazine, Logan County, Arkansas. Logan County was formed from parts of Scott, Franklin Johnson and Yell Counties. Logan was formed in 1875. Several of his brothers and sisters followed him there.

After his second marriage, he resided in Texas, where his next three children were born. Between 1901 and 1903, he went to Idaho with his daughter, Lillie (Ritchie) Williams and her husband Charles Williams, in 1910 while visiting his family in Maud, Pottawatomie Co, Oklahoma, they are listed on the 1910 Census of Pottawatomie Co, Oklahoma. Hiram Edward Ritchie is not buried in  , he is probably buried in Idaho. Hiram’s wife was Margaret Adeline White born in Kentucky.
