Services for Martha J Harris, 85, of 6303, Barber Road, who died Sunday mornig in a Boise nursing home, will be conducted at 2 pm, Wednesday in Sumers Chapel by William Free and Robert Cummings of the Church of Christ. Interment  will be at Morris Hill, Boise, Idaho.

Mrs M Harris was born, October 15, 1883 in Dutton, Arkansas. the daughter of Miles Ritchie & Vicy (Acord) Ritchie, she was married, June 17, 1901 at Petigrew, Arkansas, to John Henry Harris. They owned a store and post office in Barnes, Arkansas, where she was postmistress for a number of years before moving to Meridian, Idaho in
1937. They moved to Idaho City in 1942 and to Boise in 1956. Mr Harris died in
1958. She was a member of the Church of Christ of Boise.

Survivors include four sons, Guy R, Ivan M, Dallas H, and Gordon Harris, all of Boise, five daughters, Mrs Claudia Belcher, Mrs Gladys Kafvelstrom, both of Boise. Mrs Ruby Paul of Seattle, Mrs Fern Burton, Cascade, Idaho, Mrs Jean Bethke, American Falls, Idaho, a brother Zed Ritchie of Kuna, Idaho, 36 grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Ruth Perkins.

Pallbearers will be Guy R, Gordon L, Gary and Ivan Harris, David Fahnstrom and Jack Lee.
