Guy R Harris, 79, of 1100, South Roosevelt, Boise, died friday April 8, 1983, of natural causes in a Boise hospital. services will be conducted at 2 pm, Tuesday, April 12, at Summers funeral home with William Free and capital city lodge #93 AM & FM, officiating, interment will follow in Morris Hill, Boise, Idaho.

Guy was born August 30, 1903 in Pettigrew, Arkansas, he was the oldest of
10 children. He married Charlotte Perkins, September 15, 1929 in Barnes,
Arkansas.

He owned a sawmill and lumber company in Arkansas until 1945, when he
came to Iaho and lived in Idaho city and then in Boise. He founded Guy Harris and son lumber company inc in 1946, Guy was active in the business until he retired in 1971 and sold to his son. He was vice president until his death, he was a 55 year life member of Mulberry Lodge, #272 AM & FM at Oark, Arkansas, Scottish Rite bodies and El Korah Temple of the shrine.
 

Survivors include his wife, Charlotte, one son Guy E Harris, both of
Boise, two daughters, Christine Hirata of Boise and Mary Frances of San
Diego, CA, three brothers Ivan M Harris, Dallas Henry Harris and Gordon
Harris all of Boise, Idaho, three sisters Fern Burton and Gladys
Kafvelstrom both of Boise and Audrey Jean Fahnstrom.

Contributions may be made to the Shriners hospital for the crippled
children.
