Last Will and Testament

In the name of God Amen

I William W. Cogbill of Lincoln County in the state of Arkansas being of sound mind and memory and considering the uncertainty of this frail and transisting life, do therefore make, ordain, and publish, and declare this to be my last will and testament, that is to say, first after all my lawful debts are paid and descharges, the residual of my estate real and personal, I give, bequest and dispose of as follows to wit: To my beloced wife Elizabeth, one third of my estate both real and personal, to be used and enjoyed by her during her natural life and after her death the rest of whatever remains of said one third of my estate to be equally divided between my two beloved sons, Beverly A. Cogbill and Franklin Cogbill to have and share alike in fee simple, forever, and furthermore it is my will and desire that they, my two beloved sons above mentioned, from and after my death have the reamining two thirds of my estate absolute and in fee simple forever, with the exception that my two grand children Oscar L. Cogbill and Hittie Cogbill, I will and bequeath one dollar each and unto Sallie Holloway I will, give and bequeath the sum of one dollae, and I therefore appoint and make my two sons, Beverly L. Cogbill and Franklin Cogbill to be executors of my last will and testament. In testamony whereof I have hereunto set my hand, inscribed my name and affixed my seal this 20th Dec. 1892.

The above instrument of writing was subscribed by said William W. Cogbill in our presense and acknowledged by him to each of us, and he at the same time published and declared said instrument of writing subscribed to be his last will and testament, and we as testators request and in hos presence, and in the presence of each other have signed our names as witnesses hereto and written opposite our respective names of places of evidence.
