I have tried to match the cities or towns with the townships, you may have to check more than one township on some of these. Corrections to this are gladly taken. A couple of City/Towns have information on them below that were taken from the History of Lincoln County book. [Marie]

Progeny County: Cleveland 1873
County Boundary Changes: Part annexed to Desha March 10, 1879, line with Arkansas changed March 25, 1895, and with Desha March 27, 1925.
County Seat: First Meetings were held in Cane Creek Church, then permanent location at Star City.
