Thomas Cemetery

(also may be known as the Cranford Cemetery)

Haynes, Arkansas

Location: Take Hwy 131 east in Haynes. Go 3 miles to intersection of 131 and 747 and take a left heading north on 747. Go about a mile. Cemetery is located in the field to the west in a patch of tall grass about .1 of a mile off the road.

Nancy Apple and Pat Audirsch surveyed this cemetery in January 2006. This cemetery was originally listed as the Cranford Cemetery. This cemetery is on the Cranford’s land, but it is the Thomas Family Cemetery. This land was owned by the Thomas family long before the Cranfords.
