Peter’s
Location:
The Peter’s Rock Cemetery is located about ¼ mile south of Hwy 79
on the west side of 309.
Jane Hartley
submitted 2 photos on October 5, 2005.
There is an abandoned church house and about 60 markers. Click here to see an overview of the grounds, and
click here to see the old
church. The church was rebuilt
in 1960, so the cemetery was probably there before that.
I
transcribed this cemetery and took photos of each grave stone on November 9,
2008 with the help of Andrew Roberts and Cricket & Robert Webb. Here is
another photo of the grounds
and another photo of the church.
If
you know of anyone else buried here, and would like to add their name, please contact
me. I can also create a link
for you to any of these names if you find someone that belongs to your
family. The information presented
is as correct as possible, however you may want to verify its
accurateness.
