We will have to start back in Washington Co., Va. to understand
who the Hempstead Co., Ark. Berry people were.

1812 Thomas Berry died - wife Prudence. Children named in Will:
James - to sell land in Western Tenn.

William, decd. - 10 children, two named Polly & Betsey Berry
David - to be nice to his step mother

No daughters named. Thomas did say he had a wife (Mary) to leave him and moved to Tenn. with his horse. James was to give the horse to Grand daughters (daus. of William) Polly & Betsey Berry.
